Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping information

How long does it take to prepare an order?

Original paintings: Preparing an original painting for shipping usually takes one day.

Giclée prints: Giclée prints are made to order, which means I place the printing order only after payment is received. The printing process depends on the workload of the print shop and typically takes a few days. During busy periods, such as the holiday season, production times may be longer.

Frames: If you ordered a frame for your print, please allow an additional 2 weeks for the frame to be made, as most frames are custom-made.

How long does it take afor an order to be delivered?

Domestic shipping (Poland): Once the package is dispatched, the estimated delivery time is approximately 3 business days. However, according to the carrier’s policy, this may be extended to a maximum of 7 business days (this is very rare).

  • International shipping (Europe): Delivery usually takes 5–7 business days, with a maximum of 10 business days.
  • Shipping outside Europe: Delivery times may be longer, but details about the costs and estimated delivery time will be provided via email after placing your order.
Where are you located, and where are shipments sent from?

My studio is based in Warsaw, Poland. However, I often visit my hometown, nestled in the heart of the Roztoczański National Park, where the tranquility and peace provide the perfect environment for creativity. I also spend time in Brussels, known as a hub of art and culture.

While my studio is located in Poland, my artwork is shipped worldwide.

Do you offer international shipping? If so, where to?

Yes, many of my paintings have been shipped to international clients, primarily within Europe.
I offer shipment to:
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK.

If you are interested in shipping outside of Europe, it’s best to contact me before placing your order so I can estimate the costs and delivery time.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, shipping for original paintings within Poland is always free to ensure the highest comfort and satisfaction with your purchase. For deliveries outside of Poland, additional charges apply due to international transportation costs. Shipping for Giclée prints is also charged, but I make every effort to keep these costs as low as possible.

How are items packaged and insured to ensure safe delivery?

All items are carefully packaged—usually with bubble wrap and thick cardboard—to ensure safe delivery. In addition, shipping insurance is purchased to protect against damage or loss during transit.

Do you cover customs fees or import taxes for international orders?

No, we do not handle or cover customs fees or import taxes for international orders. Any such charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

What should I do if I provided an incorrect shipping address?

If you provided an incorrect shipping address, please contact me as soon as possible—ideally within one day of placing the order. Because I strive for quick delivery, I typically create the shipping label for original oil artwork the next business day. For Giclée prints, orders are made on demand, which means they are first sent to the printing service, so there’s usually a bit more flexibility to update the shipping address. In any case, please get in touch as soon as you can, and we’ll see what can be done.

Original Oil Paintings

What materials do you use to create your paintings?

All of my hand-painted artworks are created on high-quality cotton canvas, using oil paints from renowned brands such as Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and Renesans.

How are your painting created?

As an artist, I focus on transformative painting, using art to inspire and reflect on spiritual development. My paintings often reflect my thoughts on life, drawing from personal experiences and emotions. I strive to portray what moves and inspires me.

For this reason, I do not accept commissioned work – without genuine emotion and deep engagement, it is difficult for me to create.

The process of creating a painting often begins with an experience, meditation, or deep reflection. I then proceed to design the artwork, usually sketching initial ideas on paper. This phase takes a few days until the concept is fully developed.

The actual painting process, including layering paint and working on details, typically takes several weeks. Each stage demands full dedication to ensure the final artwork conveys the emotions, message, and colors I aim to express.

Do you create commissioned paintings?

No, I do not accept commissioned work. My paintings are deeply personal, inspired by my own experiences, emotions, and reflections, making genuine engagement essential for my creative process

Can I request a certificate of authenticity for my painting?

Each original painting comes with a certificate of authenticity that confirms its uniqueness and provenance. For Giclée prints, I provide a Giclée authenticity certificate, which includes details about the materials and printing process. There is no need to make a special request for a certificate – it is a standard part of every order. If you have additional questions about the certificates, feel free to reach out!

Do you offer framing, or do you have any recommendations for how to frame and display the painting?

I currently do not offer framing for my paintings, mainly because many of them are quite large, and shipping framed artwork significantly increases the risk of damage. However, the edges of my paintings are fully painted, so they’re ready to hang right away in your space without a frame. If you’d like to add a touch of elegance by framing them yourself, I recommend an “American box” frame. Its minimalist design keeps the focus on the artwork itself, rather than drawing attention to the frame.

How should I care for and clean my oil painting over time?

All of my paintings and canvas prints are coated with a protective varnish that helps guard against moisture and color fading. Even with this protection, it’s best to avoid placing the artwork in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. To remove dust, gently wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth. For canvas prints, I recommend displaying them in a frame with plexiglass or glass, providing an extra layer of protection from scratches or environmental factors.

Giclee Prints

What are Giclée prints and how do they differ from commercial prints?

Giclée prints are high-quality artistic reproductions, printed on specialized materials (e.g., canvas or archival paper) using pigment-based inks. Unlike commercial prints, Giclée prints are distinguished by exceptional precision, color depth, and durability – they can retain their quality for decades without fading. They are an ideal choice for art collectors and enthusiasts.

Why invest in a Giclée print?

Giclée prints are premium-quality artistic reproductions that stand out for their exceptional durability, precision, and color depth. Unlike commercial prints, Giclée prints are created using pigment-based inks and archival materials, ensuring resistance to fading and preserving details for decades. They are the perfect choice for art collectors and enthusiasts.

What criteria must a print meet to be considered a Giclée print?

To be considered a Giclée print, it must meet several key criteria. First, it should be produced on high-quality archival paper or canvas that is resistant to aging. The print must use pigment-based inks, which ensure exceptional color depth and durability, guaranteeing fade resistance for many years. Additionally, the printing process should be carried out using specialized high-resolution printers, allowing for precise reproduction of details and textures. These standards distinguish Giclée prints from commercial prints, offering unmatched quality.

What materials do I use for the Giclée prints I offer?

No matter how high-quality the materials are, if a print is not based on a high-resolution scan, it will not be detailed enough. That is why all my works are first scanned at 600 DPI resolution. Thanks to this high-quality scan, the prints are incredibly detailed – you can see every brushstroke, paint texture, and subtle irregularity that gives the artwork its unique character.

The prints are then produced using an EPSON SC-P9000 printer with UltraChrome HDX ink. For Giclée prints, I use Somerset Enhanced Radiant White Velvet 255 g paper and Canson Matte 395 g/m² canvas.

Can I order a frame for my print?

Yes, it is possible to purchase a Giclée print with a frame. You can also choose to order just the print and select and purchase a frame on your own according to your preferences.

The frame available on my website is a custom-made aluminum frame. The production time for the frame is approximately 2 weeks, so please keep this in mind when placing your order.

The print will be carefully mounted in the frame and protected with plexiglass. I do not use glass, as it is very difficult to transport safely.

Can I order a Giclée print in a custom size?

Currently, the sizes available for purchase are displayed in the options when placing an order. These typically include dimensions that match the original painting as well as a slightly smaller format. However, if you are interested in a different size that is not listed, feel free to contact me. There is a good chance I can create a print in the size that suits you best. I encourage you to reach out to discuss the details!

How closely do the printed colors match the original artwork, and can there be slight variations due to monitor differences?

Giclée prints are known for their exceptional color accuracy and detail, which is why they’re often used to reproduce fine art. While the goal is to match the original artwork as closely as possible, slight variations may occur due to differences in screen calibration, ambient lighting, and individual monitor settings. If you compare a print directly to the original under the same lighting conditions, the colors should appear very similar. However, because every device displays colors differently, you might notice minor discrepancies when viewing digital images online.
